Vietnamese Catering, Sydney Price Guide · Updated August 2026

How Much Does Vietnamese Catering Cost in Sydney?

Vietnamese catering in Sydney costs about $20 to $25 per person for individual bento boxes, or $40 to $50 per person for a shared platter spread. Here is our full price list, with what each platter actually feeds.

The Short Answer

How much does Vietnamese catering cost per person in Sydney?

Budget $20 to $25 a head if you want one box per person, and $40 to $50 a head if you want a shared spread of platters people help themselves to. Individual bento boxes are the cheapest way to feed an office and the easiest to hand out. Platters cost more per person but they suit a room where people graze, and they look far better on a table.

Those numbers are our real 2026 catering prices at Great Aunty Three, Shop 5, 16-30 Bunn St, Pyrmont. We have been cooking Vietnamese street food in Sydney since 2011, fifteen of those years on Enmore Road before we moved to Pyrmont.

Bento Boxes

How much is a bento box for an office lunch?

Bento boxes are $20 to $29 each. Each one is a complete single-serve meal, so you order one per person and there is nothing to portion out on the day.

  • Vegetarian Tofu Bento Box — $20.00
  • BBQ Chicken Bento Box — $22.00
  • Lemongrass Beef Bento Box — $22.00
  • Add a fried egg to any box — $3.00

Every box comes with your choice of base at no extra cost: vermicelli noodles with herbs and salad, garden salad, or rice and salad. All three bases are gluten free. Tell us which you want in the notes when you order.

A team of 10 costs about $220. A team of 25 costs about $550.

Worked Examples

What should I order for an office lunch in Pyrmont or the Sydney CBD?

Three orders we send out most often, with real totals.

A team of 10, simplest option — about $220

Ten bento boxes at $20 to $25 each. One box per person, no serving, no leftovers to deal with. Good for a working lunch where people eat at their desks.

A shared spread for 20 — about $800

One large protein platter at $350, one large fried rice platter at $240 and one large herbs and salad platter at $210. That is roughly $40 a head and it fills a table properly.

Drinks and canapes for 25 — about $340

Medium rice paper rolls, 25 rolls at $117.50, plus 25 chicken wings at $75 and 25 rice net spring rolls at $47.50, with coconut jelly cups for 20 at $100. That comes to $340. Good for an afternoon event rather than a sit-down lunch.

We deliver to offices across Pyrmont, Darling Harbour, Ultimo and the Sydney CBD, which is a short run from our kitchen on Bunn St.

Delivery and Lead Time

What does catering delivery cost, and how far ahead do I need to order?

Delivery anywhere in Sydney is a flat $35. Pickup from Shop 5, 16-30 Bunn St, Pyrmont NSW 2009 is free.

We need at least 3 days' notice on every catering order. The pork belly and crackling take time, the broth is started the night before, and the rice paper rolls are rolled on the morning they go out. Three days is what it takes to do it properly rather than quickly.

If you are booking December office lunches, give us more room than that. Those weeks fill early.

Dietary

Is there vegetarian and vegan Vietnamese catering in Sydney?

Yes, and it is not an afterthought on our menu. The vegetarian options are the same dishes we serve in the restaurant.

  • Vegetarian Tofu Bento Box — $20.00, gluten free available
  • Vegetarian Delight Rice Paper Rolls — from $52.00 for 12 rolls
  • Rice Net Spring Rolls, vegetarian — from $22.80 for 12 pieces
  • Vietnamese Herbs and Salad Platter — from $70.00

A lot of our platters are gluten free as they are. Tell us what the room needs in the notes field and we will tell you honestly what works.

Why Us

Why order Vietnamese catering from Great Aunty Three?

We have been cooking Vietnamese street food in Sydney since 2011 — fifteen years on Enmore Road, and now a much bigger kitchen in Pyrmont. Our banh mi was named number 11 dish in the world on Urban Adventures' Street Food 50 list.

The difference on a catering table is that this is restaurant food, not production-kitchen food. The pho broth is a hundred-year-old family recipe. The pork is roasted for the crackling, not for the clock.
